Competition Winners Announcement

Kyrenia Opera is pleased to announce the winners of the 5th Cyprus Vocal Competition.

First Prize: Elena Patsalidou, soprano.

Second Prize: Rafaela Charalambous, mezzo soprano

Honorary Mention: Lucy Elston, soprano

The competition’s prestigious panel was comprised of international baritone William Stone and Martha Wade, President of Wade Artist Management.

All applicants were judged on vocal technique, musicality, diction, repertoire and dramatic expression.
